This is the first of two consecutive Saturdays where we’ve got weddings to attend. This morning’s event is more serious, for me at least, since I’ve been asked to show up with camera ready. I’ve got my camera kit packed and even got in a dry run yesterday when the wedding party gathered for an informal rehearsal, but now I’ve got to gear up for the real thing in a just a few hours. So I’ll probably cut this entry short and get back to the camera fussing.

The discussion of sunshine and executive sessions continues. Doug at Poinography.com responded thoughtfully to yesterday’s entry (and I’ll forgive the reference to “elders”), and the Advertiser’s Jerry Burris also wrote about the issues yesterday.

We got the news yesterday that another of our morning dogs, Ms. Liko, passed away at age 16. For a German Shepherd, that’s positively ancient. She was a sweet dog and had only gotten on our biscuit list in the last few years, but we always looked for her when we walked the length of Kekio Road. We’ll miss her.
