Seals in Waikiki

People out early in Waikiki yesterday got an unusual treat–two Hawaiian Monk Seals sleeping on Kuhio Beach. Later in the morning, they continued swimming towards Ala Moana. Waikiki Resident Michael Peters was lucky enough to be there and sent along several photos. Just click on this picture for more photos.

Cam Cavasso apparently making another run against Dan Inouye

Former Republican state representative Cam Cavasso is back, making another run for U.S. Senate against Dan Inouye. He hasn’t taken out nomination papers yet, according to the latest list of candidates, but he has an active campaign site and is advertising on Craigslist for “summer interns”. It’s about 5:45 a.m. and I’m wondering who I can complain to if the last edition of the Honolulu Advertiser isn’t delivered this morning?
