With all the heat generated in recent days by comments about the Star-Advertiser (a bit out of hand, perhaps, on the comments?), it’s hard to believe summer is just beginning.
Seriously, folks, let’s try to get comments back to the substantive, with less of the venting.
And I’ll start the day with this light look at two of our favorite dogs in Kaaawa, Piko and Murphy. They’ve been featured before, but are just so cute!

I think there was a reason why so much venting was going on about SA on your blog: theres no where else TO vent, really.

Point taken, Ian. I apologize. But I also agree with Hipoli — where else do people have to go to vent about these things? You’ve got a pretty good forum here with different types of folks pitching in their various opinions on everything. But I’ll try to hold back my SA comments … somewhat.
I do want the paper, and the good people working there, to succeed. It’s the upper management’s decisions I have a problem with.
