Here we are, another Feline Friday, just a day ahead of Cinco de Mayo.

This is Mr. Silverman. He started celebrating early. Recall that he had all of his remaining teeth pulled last month. He’s mending. His mouth has healed, and he’s even eating some dry kibbles, depending on the shape, along with his canned diabetes diet. Ah, yes, you can hear the VCA profits rising in the background!

Last night we were eating dinner, and I heard the snap of the cat door, looked across the room, and saw Silverman prancing across the living room towards the kitchen, happily carrying something in his mouth. Thinking that it was some creature that could still be rescued, I intercepted him in the kitchen…and discovered that he had liberated a piece of bbq meat several inches long. Recall that he has no teeth left, so he really couldn’t chew it, but that didn’t deter his hunting spirit. Hunting, in this case, was apparently in the neighbor’s trash bag, or else off a plate somewhere.

I took this as a sign that Silverman is officially feeling better!

By the way, Romeo’s video passed 800,000 YouTube views yesterday, and was already over 812,000 this morning!
