As of 8:45 a.m. this morning, iLind.net has had over 550 page views and the Goodle Adsense ads arrayed around the fine editorial product have raked in a total of 26 cents.
On the other hand, the YouTube video featuring Mr. Romeo and I in a simulated “wake-up call” has already had 7,180 page views today and has earned $11.06 in Adsense revenue.
Yesterday the video had 11,480 views, while iLind.net had about 2,100.
Definitely humbling. I guess that I’m getting the same lesson that newspaper publishers are receiving every time they review circulation and revenues.

Maybe local retailers would offer a better deal? I sure would.
It’s pretty obvious you have to take a step back and make your cat the editor.
Although I am primarily a cat person, I would vote for Mr Murphy.
With cats, at least you are keeping it clean.
Hmmm, “ads arrayed around the fine editorial product . . .” What ads? Does AccuWeather count as an ad?
Let Romeo loose in the House chamber on floor on opening day. Get video. Sue Vilaflor. Pau. Adsense and damages.
Clever remarks like yours and Keith Rollman help me maintain a feeling of aloha across the political divide. Thanks for making me smile. And, if only briefly, a better person.
I literally laughed out loud when I read Keith’s comment.
It looks like your cat video is closing in on a million views. That’s pretty cool. Is Romeo going to get a special snack with the extra cash coming in???
