This photo was taken as we walked along a straight stretch of Kamehameha Highway in Kaaawa (just two lanes, but a highway nonetheless) this morning as the sun was coming up.

The ocean was calm, tide lower than recent mornings. Traffic was light.

It was, in short, just a nice, peaceful morning.
