Folks ain’t buying crude priests and their epidemic misbehavior with little boys to crooked cover-ups of Cardunals.It is a dying institution. They no longer allow criminal trials of alleged heretics.

And not to pick on Rome, note the recent molestation convictions of Jews, Mormons and even Buddhists, not to mention awful Muslims.

Old Marx was right about religion as the opiate. For sure.

The next report was on Pope Ratzinger’s retirement and the conclave of old white men meeting in secret to select the new one. The message was clear. Pope good, Chavez bad. And again, which was was popularly elected? And which one is a hypocritical old fossil dedicated to preserving male, hetero-sexist privilege, while covering up pedophilia and engaged in shady bank transactions with the Mafia?
