It’s been raining on and off in Kaaawa this morning, but not as much rain as yesterday, when it was wet enough that we skipped our walk. We went out today well armed with umbrellas. They were needed.

This is the spot where, on most mornings, we transition from walking along the side of Kamehameha Highway down to the beach.
The rain caught up with us a few minutes later, and we waited under this tree until the rain passed.

When we get to the end of the beach, we turn around and head for home. Time for coffee. Round trip, about three miles.
