| While I was in the yard, I noticed Romeo at full alert. On closer inspection, he was standing guard over a tiny, captive rat. At least I think it was a baby rat rather than a mouse. I have to admit that I rescued the rat and deposited it across the yard with a head start, although it probaby just delayed the inevitable. Photograph by Ian Lind  |
