Anniversary '01

The Big Day began, as ours usually do, with a walk through the back roads of Kaaawa and then along the ocean to the far end of Kaaawa, then back, with stops for human and canine acquaintances along the way. The tide was low, giving us a bit more time on the beach and offering up the first of the day's several self-portraits.

Hey, whatever else might be going on, we're still having fun, and that counts for something. Strike that. It counts for a lot.

Ian's written most of these comments, but every once in a while Meda chimes in with a word or two of her own.
