We were in the car, heading towards town on Beretania, debating the relative merits of Yummy Korean BBQ next to Savers in Kalihi, where you can combine thrift shopping and food, vs. Tasty Korean BBQ out in Kaneohe, tucked between Blockbuster and Long's across the street from Windward Mall. Yummy features access to Savers, while Tasty features a restroom. Well, hey, on a long run after a couple of Super Big Gulps you start to be aware of such things.

Suddenly it dawned on me--the Artists of Hawaii show is still at the Art Academy, and we could combine lunch with culture (well, higher culture than what we typically see at Savers). So I veered into the parking lot, and in we went.
