When the general manager of Century Center Condominium wrote to City Council Member Ann Kobayashi this week to complain about a small group of apparently homeless people who have set up camp in a vacant lot near the corner of Kapiolani and Kalakaua, he included two photos taken by the condo's security staff. Although he apparently didn't examine the photos too closely before sending them off to Kobayashi's office, her eagle-eyed staffers are in for a surprise. One of the high resolution photos is shown below, followed by a section shown at full size to display the reading (?) material (although I did blur the main subject a bit in the interests of modesty).
