This is a work in progress, so check back periodically to see what's been added.

Reunion organizers compiled information on all the classmates they were able to contact.

Get it all on CD! Would you like to browse through these photos and watch the reunion video without tying up your internet connection? Send me $10 and I'll copy everything onto a CD and mail it right back to you. This is one way that you can view the video even though you've got a slow dial-up connection. The easiest way to submit your payment is via PayPal by clicking the "Buy Now" button to the right. PayPal works, it's easy, secure, and you'll be guided through the process. You can also send a check via snail mail to me, Ian Lind, PO Box 600, Kaaawa, HI 96730. Otherwise, just enjoy browsing through the links on this page at your leisure.

First things first. Here are a few vintage photos, including this classic of my 7th grade home room during my first year at UHS. A print of this one proved to be the most sought after photo during last weekend's reunion. Just click on the picture to see more.

And you'll want to check out Ka Leo Nui, our mimeographed sophomore class newspaper dated April 4, 1963. Were we really alive that long ago?

Here's a gallery of my reunion photos from the two events over the weekend. I haven't cleaned it up yet, so please ignore the rough unfinished edges. Just click on either of these photos for more. And enjoy. Please.

Norman Hong opened his beautiful home to the class on Sunday.

In that relaxed atmosphere, I (this is Ian) wandered around and collected personal messages for those who didn't make it to the reunion. This is a Quicktime video, and I hope you're able to view it. If the controls don't show up, try just clicking once or twice on the video, or the blank box where the video is supposed to be. These things work in mysterious ways.

Video Warning: This file a large file and could take a long time to load with a dial-up connection to the internet. But if you've got a DSL or cable modem, click and check it out!

I've heard from several people who were unable to play the video as well as one who could hear the audio but couldn't see the picture. If that happens to you, try opening the second version by clicking on it.

Please let me know if you're unable to view the video. Just email me (ian@ilind.net) and describe what happens when you try to play it, and what kind of computer you're using. That will hopefully help sort out the remaining problems.

If you don't understand the jokes about the thumb, perhaps you missed the earlier news, so click here to read about and view the famous presidential salute.

After a fair bit of experimentation, I've settled on this version of the video which requires a larger file but can be played by many more computers. Hopefully yours is one of them. It has also been revised since the first posted version to include Ron Sakata's inspired rendition of the UHS school song!

Just click to begin the video.

If you're asked what program to use to open
the video, select "Quicktime".
