[Update: The bicycle has been claimed and will be going to a good home.]

This vintage 26″ bike dates from the early 1950s, when my father scrounged it from the trash outside a neighbor’s house and restored it. He’s kept it operable all these years. He rode it until just a few years ago, when he started losing his balance and had an run-in with the pavement. Then it moved to his boat, where his fishing friends would use it to get around while the boat was at the dock. It hasn’t been used since last December.

It needs a bit of oiling and minor rust removal, but otherwise seems operable.
