I hear your pain.
Google’s flood of ABC News/Sarah Palin ads took me by surprise this morning.
Enough is enough, right?
I’ve followed the instructions to block further appearances of this ad.
The instructions warn that there’s a delay before the ads are blocked.
Hopefully it won’t be a long delay!

Why does she threaten your POV so much that you would take the time to do so?
Because a worldview based on such ignorance, distortion, hypocrisy and stupidity is quite frankly dangerous to the country and world at large.
Anyone who does not take the time to eliminate the likes of Sarah Palin from their lives when they have a chance to is derelict.
I also see that we’re back to moderating comments?
Comments are moderated primarily to eliminate spam, which comes in all varieties.
Thank you, Ian. Any kind of break from Ms. Palin is a welcome one for me. Did you see the Editorial cartoon in today’s Advertiser?
I liked the “fair and balanced” image the Palin ad protrayed on your blog.
And Democrats should be happy if she has some staying power as there is no way she could ever take the swing vote.
I must have tunnel vision. I never see ads.
(Except those annoying StarBulletin ads that seem to cover every article I want to read.)
Bill… Dems should send her a check!
Sorry Ian I had misunderstood that you had done away with all that.
Reader,
you meant to say “except for those annoying ads that seem to cover every article I want to read for FREE”!
LOL, you are right, and I do think about that from time to time. I just haven’t decided what to do about it. I’ve been subscribing to the print version, weekends only, for about six months now, but am ready to cancel it – I find I am only picking it up out of guilt, and I much prefer reading the paper online.
Unfortunately I don’t have a solution to offer. But I’ll be on the lookout for a better answer!
