Here’s a little glimpse of how Thanksgiving started for us, with sunrise viewed from the beach in Kaaawa. I have to admit that it seemed cold enough that I pulled a sweatshirt over my t-shirt before putting on my shoes and heading out. For those of you outside of Hawaii unfamiliar with our scale of hot and cold, this morning’s “cold” was probably just under 70 degrees (F) with a light wind following a rainy night.

FYI, Wednesday morning at 6:30 it was 56 degrees on my lanai. I live outside of Wahiawa at approx. 1000 feet elevation. Definitely sweatshirt weather.
But it’s generally in the 80’s by noon!
