The outlines of Molokai and part of Maui were very sharp before dawn this morning. At least that’s what I’ve concluded we see from the beach in Kaaawa on these clear mornings.

And then we were surprised to see a green flash as the leading edge of the sun slipped into view.

I think I’ll declare it a good start to the work week.
