Feline Friday arrives like clockwork.

This week, Mr. Romeo and Mr. Toby seem to be the stars.

Romeo is a tough case. He’s the self-appointed kitty sheriff intent on keeping trespassers at bay. He’s the same cat that used to cower and cringe when Leo, half his size, would assert his Top Cat status. Now, though, a year after Leo died, Romeo has discovered his inner lion. He’s also earning too many scratches and wounds. And he’s only been marginally successful in keeping those wandering cats out of our yard. Oh, well, you can’t doubt his sincerity!
