Another Feline Friday featuring our Kaaawa cats.

Mr. Toby managed to capture the camera’s attention this week, while Duke and Harriet stayed out of its way.

Toby has figured out a way to get my attention in the morning when he feels he hasn’t received a sufficient ration to fill his belly. He jumps up on the table, walks over to stand next to the computer, where I’m working on the morning’s blog entry. He sits down. He looks at me. He slowly reaches out with a front paw. And his claws snag the closest wrist while he leans forward and gives a quick nip. Sometimes not so quick. I jump and emit an exclamation or two. He waits. He repeats. My arm is scratched. I try to move him back away from the keyboard, but he gets stubborn. Arm in his territory means arm is fair game. Ouch again. We go back and forth a few times. Finally he wins. I walk over, grab one of the cat dishes, drop a few kibbles in it. He’s happy, I don’t have to worry about brief moments of pain. What a duo!
