Gone are the vivid reds and oranges of those winter dawns in Kaaawa.
Now it’s blue skies, with the sun well above the horizon by the time we get down to the beach, usually by 6:45 a.m.
It like a whole new spin on starting the day.

The colors are still there, but it’s now just before 6:00 am!
Of course, you’re right. Actually, though, it’s well before 6, I think.
My guess is that the best time for photos is from 30 minutes before right up to the actual sunrise.
And “before 6 a.m.” puts them pretty much out of reach, even for those of us who get up very early.
I still have trouble with people who see the photos and say, “what a pretty sunset!” Sunrise, I say.
And they go right on. “Do you see the sunset often?”
So it goes.
have you had any luck finding the glass balls on the beach lately, when visiting with my sister I was lucky enough to find two within days of each other. I know that you have found many but curious if you have found any of lates.
