Mr. Silverman welcomes you to another Feline Friday with a display of his yawning skills! Cats seem to be quite good at yawns, and Mr. Silverman is a very skilled cat, as you can see.

It does puzzle me that cats are obviously able to open very W I D E but, at the same time, make a convincing case that even the smallest pill is too big to swallow.

I’m short on time this morning because we have to roll our walk even earlier than normal in order to then make the 13-mile drive to Kanaeohe to deliver Duke to the vet for another day of glucose testing, part of his routine as a newly diagnosed diabetic cat. Hopefully this will be the last test and adjustment in his insulin dose, at least for a while.
