It’s another Feline Friday, and we’ve had good news and bad news this week on the cat front. Good news was that Duke’s insulin dose was cut back a little, the first time this has happened since he was diagnosed last summer. But Silverman isn’t doing as well, and his dose was increased a full 25%. That was on Sunday, and I can’t say his condition has changed much at all. Meanwhile, Romeo showed up on Sunday afternoon with an injured right rear leg. He couldn’t put any weight on it. After 24 hours, we decided on a vet visit “out of an abundance of caution.” After a lengthy exam, the diagnosis was an injured or strained knee. Treatment–plain old R&R. So we’re trying to keep him from spending much time outside, where he’s more likely to be reinjured.
