I got a call from the Apple Store late yesterday afternoon.

They are going to replace the mother board. Unfortunately, they don’t have one in stock, so have one “on order.” It is unlikely to come in until the middle of next week.

I’m not expecting to get my computer back until Thursday or Friday.

I’m still trying to figure some workaround for getting to my photos. We’ll see.

In the meantime, I’m working on my somewhat flakey previous generation MacBook Pro with lots of functional but dated software.

It doesn’t make the blogging any easier, that’s for sure.
