My comment here yesterday about the “nonchalant police officer walking back and forth in front of a line of passive students seated on the ground while spraying then with a canister of pepper spray” brought a creative reaction from a reader named Dave.
He wrote:
He looked so casual that it seemed like he was watering the plants or something.
So… I Photoshopped him into a garden.
And the result….

For some reason this brings to mind Hannah Arendt’s famous locution, “the banality of evil.” I do hope this thug is prosecuted for his unproved assault.
I’m glad you recognized that guys photoshop. It went beyond the silly ones and captured something of the campus cop’s eerie caviler attitude.
