Mr. Toby welcomes you to this week’s Feline Friday.
He was feeling pretty perky when the camera and I caught up with him. This is a turnaround for him this week. He’s been getting picked on recently by Romeo, not a surprise, and even by Ms. Annie, which is a surprise. And he’s also had a couple of hairballs, which didn’t help his mood.
But he also has taken first position on the cat tree in our living room, which is where this picture was taken. And you can see that he was quite alert when the camera came by.
Meanwhile…Romeo has a bunch of scabs from his most recent scuffle with Lumber. Nothing serious, at least not after I administered the liberal cleaning with hydrogen peroxide to fend off infection.
Wally has been a little picky with her food this week, so I’ve been trying to tempt her with only limited effect. Duke has been fine, though too fat. Kali’s had a good appetite.
Such is life when you’ve got a bunch of geriatric cats, as we do, ranging in age from 11 to 17 years.
