Yes, I know, Feline Friday didn’t happen on Friday. The pictures were missing in action.

But here they are, just a couple of days late.

We got back from a short trip to the east coast on Sunday afternoon, and the cats seemed very happy to see us! We picked up the two diabetics from VCA, and then headed straight home. Annie and Romeo had stayed out of sight most of the time we were away, but they came right out as soon as we walked in the door.

I have a feeling that Romeo is going to be sleeping between us tonight!

Meanwhile, Ms. Kili welcomes you to Feline Friday. In this photo, she’s demonstrating the affect that an empty bag has on cats. A bag, paper or otherwise, is really a cat magnet, as Kili demonstrates.

While we were gone, Toby was the friendly cat who soaked up all the attention of our cat sitter, while Annie and Romeo hid. This kind of weird behavior forces us to keep all trips very short, perhaps a week at the most. It’s the price you pay to live with animals, at least that’s the way we view it.
