We returned to Kaaawa last night for dinner with a friend, then stayed and got up early this morning for a walk. We lived there for 28 years before moving into town in 2015.

We were introduced to a puppy recently adopted by other friends, enjoyed the natural beauty of the area, and got a surprise (be sure to get to the last photo to see what it was).
