We spent the night with friends in Kaaawa, then walked the neighborhood at dawn. Continuing erosion along the ocean. Construction at the fire station. At least one new house replacing an older home along Kekio Road. Only a few of the dogs we know came out to greet us, and we learned of a couple that have died. It’s a shame we don’t have more time to connect with other friends when we’re out there.
