While looking for a good 4th of July photo from years past, I came across a wonderful picture taken July 4, 2002, of Duke and his mother, who we had named Cybelle.

Duke was just a few months old. And Cybelle died not much after this of previously undiagnosed diabetes.

Anyway, they are the lead-in to this week’s Feline Friday.
