We started our early morning walk on Saturday morning about 25 minutes before sunrise. As I stood outside in the driveway waiting for Meda, there was a red-crested Brazilian Cardinal up in the trees somewhere singing. I’ve known their particular call since I was a kid here in this same yard a whole lot of years ago.
I pulled out my phone and made a short audio recording. My apologies for the low quality of the recording.
I hope this was one of my afternoon “regulars” enjoying the new day.

Lovely!
Love it!.I am always thrilled when a bird sits/ sings on my lanai rail or the near by palm.
A matchless reminder of the everyday grace of our Hawaii nei…. Thank you Ian!
