A jury in Honolulu’s Federal District Court returned a resounding “Guilty” verdict against former Honolulu business owner Michael J. Miske Jr. on Thursday afternoon.
The jury deliberated for only four days in order to reach their verdict.

What is the fate of the co-conspirators? Will they be tried after miske?
All 12 co-defendants entered into plea deals before the trial. All are awaiting sentencing. There are 8 or 9 others who were charged separately and also pleaded guilty. Several of those were apparently considered minor characters and have already been sentenced, while others (like key trial witnesses Jake Smith and Wayne Miller) are also awaiting sentencing. All of them will likely be sentenced over the next six months. Dates are currently being set, one by one.
