We drove out to Kaaawa Thursday afternoon to experience another Halloween in Kaaawa.

Spike and Rita Denis hosted their annual Halloween party, with food and drink inside, along with spooks and treats outside. We gather on their deck, appropriately decorated for the evening, and watch as the costumed revelers approach below, and treats are delivered via a slide from above, land on a table decorated with a severed arm.

We were all lucky. It didn’t rain.
