Here we go! It’s the final Feline Friday of 2024.
I’m very glad to report that all four cats are now drinking out of the new Elfin Fountain!
Kiko was first, and Kali followed. We didn’t see Kinikini drinking, but have seen the evidence because he dips his foot in and leaves residue, which I then have to clean. And we finally saw Bessie drinking several times over the past two days, so all is good! No more water glasses left on the kitchen counter to be spilled.
Here’s some additional information:
I ordered directly from the company, Elfinfountain.com. Shipping was a flat $18.
But I then realized Amazon has a product that appears to be the same item, but with a different brand name (Cheerble Pumpless Cat Water Fountain, Wireless Pet Fountain Battery Operated, 2L/67oz E1+ Automatic Cat Water Dispenser MagDrive™ Technology Stainless Steel Tray, No Cleaning Hassle (Cordless, E1+)). The photo and description appear to be the same as the Elfin, and Amazon will save you the shipping.
Aha! Further checking shows “Elfin” is a registered trademark of Shenzhen Cheerble Technology Co., Ltd. So it appears the two products are likely identical.

Here’s hoping Kinikini will stop sticking his paw in the water once he gets comfortable with the fountain.
Every time I see an ad online for some kind of product that is usually a small, home electronic item, I always take a quick look at Amazon to see if there is a less expensive alternative. Every time there is because it’s usually inevitable that it’s made in China and the company is cranking the item out under several different brand names.
And people are okay with cutting China out of imports all together in order to “bring manufacturing back to the USA”? Yeah…that’s the biggest joke ever.
