Millenium Park, Chicago
Photographs by Ian Lind, Kaaawa, Hawaii
"So what's the big deal about Millenium Park," I thought to myself as we prepared for the early morning walk on the final day of September. I soon found out. It is a visually stunning bit of modern imagination, art, and craftsmanship, again putting Chicago on the map in a way perhaps not seen since the great exposition of 1893. Constrained, however, in concept and reality by the homeless figures on the sidewalk just across Michigan Avenue.
