Canine friends who are also awake daily at dawn

Ms. Lucy thinks she deserves to be the queen of her household.

But Paco also has royal aspirations and considers himself top dog. Luckily, Paco and Lucy are buddies anyway.

This weekend, a couple of other dogs and their people moved in as well. This is Max, who moved around so much that it was a challenge to get a photo.

But persistence paid off with this nice shot of Max.

And this is Spot, who normally shares space with Max. Lucy & Paco didn't seem to mind the company.

And this is Ms. Lamby. We're always happy to see her whenever our walk schedules coincide.

Pili is a friendly Chow who quickly learned about the daily biscuit.

And this is Pili's partner, Ms. Ria (Rya? Riah? I just don't know how to spell her name properly). She'll perform for her biscuit. "Give me five" gets a quick paw.

Ms. Hina doesn't really like the camera, but she'll tolerate it if a biscuit quickly follows.

We usually see Ms. Amedine on the beach. At home, she clearly considers herself in charge.
