The lima beans overlapped with the curry, as they take a bit over a half-hour to cook. First cover and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes. Then I drained most of the water, and added a good dose of garlic and some garam masala, then cooked for another 10 minutes or so until tender. Here the table was being set. Ms. Kili took up a position at my place. I literally had to pick her up and move her out of the way to make room for my plate. Condiments, including mango chutney, bacon bits, and yogurt, waiting to be added to taste.
