A sudden afternoon cloudburst yesterday made me think of New Orleans, the only place I know of where such a quick deluge would be a normal affair. I was on a #1 bus when it started raining, and was lucky to find a spot out of the rain when I got off the bus, although I was then trapped for more than half an hour while waiting for it to pass.
