| No, it's not Tiki making another appearance. This is Ms. Hoku, who is one of the last of the dogs we see each morning. If she sees us coming up the street, she runs to the corner of the yard and barks a greeting with a wonderful toss of the head that sends her mane flying. Then she runs to the front gate and stands with her front paws on the top of the gate, waiting for a bit of dog biscuit. It seems like so much effort for such a manini reward, but in dog calculus it apparently works out differently. |
