Regular visitors will recall that Ms. Lizzie has been in runaway mode for several months, disappearing for long periods. I tracked her down the hill and across the street, where she can usually be found under a house or wandering in a neighbor's yard. But for the last two weeks she has been at least making it back here once or twice a day, and usually staying for several hours. It sounds modest enough, but it's a huge breakthrough. A major relief.
