I looked down the hillside last week and noticed something unusual among the giant Ape or elephant ear plants down at the bottom of the slope. There were a few of these around for years, but apparently many more were dormant and have sprouted with vigor since we cleared and started maintaining the area. But this photo doesn't really give enough perspective.
