On Tuesday afternoon, Lucy was picked up by two of her rescuers, and their mother, and taken off to a new home. It isn't far, just across the street, at least for now. The plan is that after this interim period, Lucy will be going to live with the girls' grandmother. But I can say from experience that it will be hard to let her go. We'll see.
