On Friday January 3rd, the Director of Project Censored, Peter Phillips will speak regarding the need for free press under the new Homeland Security police state. Journalists along with media organizations are co-sponsoring this event to elevate the debate on censorship at this time of international conflict and domestic terror.
Public is invited to attend, no censorship allowed.
Payment will be collected at the door. Cash or checks only made out to "SPJ-Hawaii." No refunds. Walk-ins welcomed. Plaza Club does not validate parking. Parking for approximately $2 is available in nearby City parking lots that are located in Harbor Tower (corner of Queen on Bethel) or the Gateway Plaza both on Bethel Street. |
