| Water flowing down the hill, much of it diverted by owners of homes along Maumauluukaa Road, has already created a fast-moving stream through this yard below on Hiwahiwa Road. The scene is just on the other end of our street, about nine or ten houses away from us, and is a repeat of the flooding experienced back in March 2006. In the interim, despite pleas for help from the homeowners, nothing appears to have been done by Kualoa Ranch, the Kaaawa Beach Owners Association, or home owners up the hill, to channel flood water away from this house. |
