Malama, left, has been a familiar face on our walk for years. He was recently joined by a very rapidly growing and enthusiastic puppy who can't seem to keep his feet on the ground. "Light in the loafers," to steal a phrase from "Best in Show". So Malama barks to be sure that we notice them behind the fence, and puppy does his best to levitate. Puppy finally inhales his dog biscuit in one gulp while Malama, a proper retriever, carries his around clutched carefully in his mouth. |
