| Okay, so it wasn't the traditional hamburgers and hotdogs from a 4th of July BBQ, but it was still a great meal. A few chicken thighs, cooked slowly in lime juice, white wine, red peppers, with Penzey's hot cajun spice. Chopped green peppers and apple bananas added for the last five or six minutes. Served along with fresh tomatoes, peeled, with capers and green olives. Artichoke. A bottle of red wine. On plates in another Vernon Kiln pattern, with the artichoke on a Los Angeles Pottery square plate. It was a a great meal. |
