Hatched!
The hen that's been sitting on her eggs for at least the past couple of weeks finally was able to move on Friday morning after the eggs hatched. When I saw her, she was about 10 feet away with about six chicks in tow. She must have been hungry after all that time patiently waiting. We didn't see her at all on Saturday, but on Sunday briefly caught sight of her in the plants at the front of the yard. No, I'm not naming the chicks or the hen, but that's taking a lot of will power.
