| Ms. Harry (a.k.a. Harriet) couldn't believe her eyes when she woke up from a sound cat nap and looked up to see this creature just outside the door on her favorite deck. It seems this peacock is quite tame. I went out with my camera and he barely ruffled a feather at my presence. Note the dishes on the deck, where I shared some stale cat food with the visitor. Eventually he moved on, but it's not an encounter Harriet is going to forget any time soon. |
