A rented SUV veered off Kamehameha Highway early Sunday morning, flattened the sign post in the foreground, narrowly missed the fire hydrant and utility pole, and destroyed a section of the school's fence before crashing through the block wall of the yard next door, breaking off a palm tree, and ending up smoking on the front lawn.
