| We were driving home along Kamehameha Highway through Waiahole-Waikane just before 7 p.m. when Meda looked out across the bay and suggested we stop for a photo. She was right. The last remnants of color were still visible across at Kualoa, and there was just enough light to see the textures on the water. A beautiful winter evening on the windward side.
