We were part of Cub Scout Pack 116 at Kahala School.
On this day in May 1957, my dad took us hiking up Waialae Nui above Aina Koa.
I remember the cool winds up high on the mountain, and the incredible views. It's all very different today. I can remember most of our group of hikers, but two names remain elusive. Profuse apologies to the other two!
